Who we work with

Payroll processing in a nutshell

Payroll processing in Australia involves the administration of employee salaries, wages, and related deductions. This includes calculating the amount of pay an employee is entitled to receive based on their hours worked, leave entitlements, and other factors, as well as deducting any taxes and other required deductions from their pay.

Employers are required to withhold tax from their employees' pay and make payments to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of their employees. They are also required to make payments for other deductions, such as superannuation.

Why choose CTK Accounting when it comes to Payroll Processing

CTK Accounting ensures all clients payroll systems are set up in accordance with the newly realeased single touch payroll (STP) requirements.

STP is a system implemented by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) that requires employers to report their employees' salary and wage information to the ATO on or before each pay day. STP aims to streamline the process of reporting payroll information and reduce the administrative burden on employers.
